Now, my confession. I developed a hurdle, one with four posts, two of which point south. I cannot soar past the hurdle I created, and therefore have defeated myself; I would ask if it could be different, but I know the answer.
I do wonder, however, where I went wrong. Was it my attempt at virtue; or in my weakness to persevere? This question and this question alone shall haunt my slumber tonight:
"Why didn't I do the right thing, when the choice was still mine to make?"
